In four years, you don’t have to vote again. We’ll have it fixed so good, you’re not gonna have to vote.

I don’t want to get a technical but yeah.

This was Book’s 17th 40+ game passing Amare Stoudemire for most in franchise history!

Just amazing to watch
Basically chills for 3 quarters while defenses try to stop him from creating for others then it's like Ok I think I will take my own now
Crazy lol

Another W. Another Book showcase. Hard to imagine anything he can't do offensively at this point. There were a few stretches he forced some shots and then went cold for a bit while the Jazz started knocking down their shots so it'll be good to get Jae and DA back to spread some offense around.
Our bigs were OK. Whiteside's a load even when he's not really trying. Biyombo's not great on that short roll in the lane, he needs to catch and dunk on the move. Love watching him play defense and just slapping away shots near the rim. Stix was solid but I thought had some trouble defensively off the ball. He looks good around the basket scoring and rebounding but he can't anchor a defense yet - not the way we need and we have DA, JaVale and Biyombo ahead of him.
Quiet nights for Cam and Mikal but they were working defensively and played heavy minutes. I thought Wainright looked good in his minutes, took and made the corner 3s with confidence and seemed like he at least belonged out there. I like him as a project, maybe he can turn into something next year.
Payton played some good defense, Shamet was a ghost. Would've liked to see more juice from them given how shorthanded we were.

Booker is seriously becoming my favorite Sun of all time. I love the attitude, work, seems to be a genuinely nice person off the court, just exactly the type of leader you want on your team.

Booker is on track to be the greatest Sun of all time, isn't he? How many more elite years does he need before one would hand him that title?wpmiller42 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 27, 2022 9:47 amBooker is seriously becoming my favorite Sun of all time. If we get back to the Finals this year, and he plays like he did last year, he has it.Mori Chu wrote: ↑Thu Jan 27, 2022 11:52 amBooker is on track to be the greatest Sun of all time, isn't he? Right now I’d say the list goes:
Nash
Barkley
Marion
KJ
Davis
Booker
Amare
Paul
Kidd
Adams
Another finals run puts Booker at 3 for me. He’s headed for the top guy all time though. I think he needs some All-NBA stuff though. Of course a finals mvp would do the trick and put him at 1. CP3 is gonna end up top 5 all time too. I imagine he may be seen like Barkley. Short stint, but very impactful. We get a finals and he’s top 3 with Nash and Book.
3 years from now I think the list goes:
1. Booker
2. Nash
3. CP3(honestly he’s probably 2 if we win the finals)
4. Barkley
5. Marion

CP3 will never pass Nash in my heart. Even if he helps lead us to a title this year. The Nash years were beautiful and exciting and sacred to me. CP3 joined us so late in his career that I don't think 3-4 great seasons can surpass what Nash gave me.

Nash and Barkley won MVPs. But a Finals MVP should do it.Mori Chu wrote: ↑Thu Jan 27, 2022 11:52 amBooker is on track to be the greatest Sun of all time, isn't he? It's crazy that Booker is never talked about as an MVP candidate, even when we have the clear-cut best record in the league. Perhaps it's because of Chris Paul. But if Booker continues his trend of playing even better towards the end of the season, maybe it will happen.

Booker is just not an efficient enough player to be considered for MVP. Chris Paul is still the engine that drives the team. Some people may not like to hear that, but he's a better player than Booker is.

We wouldn't be half as likely to make the Finals without either one. And I don't think we are much better as the current team without Book vs the current team without Paul. Both team would struggle. The Bobster wrote: ↑Thu Jan 27, 2022 3:29 pmBooker is just not an efficient enough player to be considered for MVP. Chris Paul is still the engine that drives the team. Paul obviously has the better career, but since he has been in Phoenix, I don't think it is easy to pick the better player.
