And I'm fine taking the chance another team and its coach will unlock Wilt 2.0. In fact, we might be selling high on him just the same. If he can't get up playing with CP and Book and KD, good luck putting him on a team like Detroit or even Dallas or Atlanta where the players aren't as good/committed and there's more dysfunction than success.

Watch Boston and Robert Williams to see how it’s supposed to work. He got a lot of easy dunks from the dunker spot

You mean the game he made a whopping 3 field goals, 8 rebounds? “Sealed the game.”JeremyG wrote: ↑Thu May 18, 2023 4:54 pmYep. That was the one. Did you not watch it?
I was there. I heard the collective groans and the roars when Landale took over.

It's like I enter into an alternate reality when I visit this forum, where I experience almost nothing but gaslighting.
Do you seriously agree with Sauce that Ayton was not critical to us winning game 4, especially in crunch time?

Re: All Things Ayton
I don't think he was critical to anything the Suns in the playoffs this year. He had a couple games where he flashed, but I don't think he was a reason they won a game. He had a couple of right place right time plays in game 4, which were very refreshing, but I'm not gonna act like he saved the game for the Suns.
Love, Hurts.
Re: All Things Ayton
If he would have played hard and to his potential, we'd still be playing, not celebrating brief moments where he gave a shit.TOO wrote: ↑Thu May 18, 2023 6:08 pmI don't think he was critical to anything the Suns in the playoffs this year. Re: All Things Ayton
Ayton is NOT underperforming and he is NOT inconsistent! As proof, I offer this one game he played okay in.

Funny thing, that's exactly my experience reading your Ayton's posts.
Re: All Things Ayton
See now you’re changing the context. The context was “every other game in the playoffs.” So I offered one clear example to the contrary.

Re: All Things Ayton
Jeremy, do you think Ayton performed well in this year's playoffs? In this regular season? How about the following specific questions:
On a "school grade" scale, like A to F, what grade would you give Ayton's regular season, and his playoffs, this year?
Lastly, do you think that Ayton played at the level of a max-contract player in the 2022-23 season?

I’ll hand it to you with Monty. You were right and most of us were wrong, but I don’t think that’s going to happen again. Do you really think Ayton will play another game for Phoenix?JeremyG wrote: ↑Fri May 19, 2023 8:03 am“There is no possibility of Monty getting fired in the summer of 2023, you’re crazy.”Aztec Sunsfan wrote: ↑Thu May 18, 2023 8:35 pmFunny thing, that's exactly my experience reading your Ayton's posts.
