My offseason plan includes "Ayton for role players". We need the depth, just need the right role players. And I'm fine taking the chance another team and its coach will unlock Wilt 2.0. In fact, we might be selling high on him just the same. If he can't get up playing with CP and Book and KD, good luck putting him on a team like Detroit or even Dallas or Atlanta where the players aren't as good/committed and there's more dysfunction than success.

I don't think he was critical to anything the Suns in the playoffs this year. He had a couple games where he flashed, but I don't think he was a reason they won a game. He had a couple of right place right time plays in game 4, which were very refreshing, but I'm not gonna act like he saved the game for the Suns.

I don't think he was critical to anything the Suns in the playoffs this year. He had a couple games where he flashed, but I don't think he was a reason they won a game. If he would have played hard and to his potential, we'd still be playing, not celebrating brief moments where he gave a shit.

On a "school grade" scale, like A to F, what grade would you give Ayton's regular season, and his playoffs, this year?

Lastly, do you think that Ayton played at the level of a max-contract player in the 2022-23 season?

I’ll hand it to you with Monty. You were right and most of us were wrong, but I don’t think that’s going to happen again. Do you really think Ayton will play another game for Phoenix?
