Would be smart if they pick up a mental health sponsorship if that happens lol.

I guess Gambo brought the "curtain" down on this rumor.

And yet you stated in the free agency thread that you think Gambo's wrong on Kyrie. Which is it?JeremyG wrote: ↑Thu Jun 29, 2023 5:46 pm"Now replace Payne with a curtain AllStar PG..."

Haha, I was mainly just wanting to make fun of Flex's spelling. But I changed my mind a little bit in those two hours. I definitely think Gambo is wrong about them not meeting with Kyrie. And I'll stick with what I've been thinking for awhile: it would not surprise me if Kyrie took the minimum to come here.SunsSince92 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 29, 2023 8:36 pmAnd yet you stated in the free agency thread that you think Gambo's wrong on Kyrie. I'd take Irving for the minimum but only that, if he turns into a problem cut him or even flip him.

Kyrie is a flake when he's making $30M. Can you imagine the BS he'd come up with if he signed for the veteran minimum?

Yep...and it'd make it exceedingly difficult for me to give 2 sheits about the team either. Kyrie is caustic...no to that...Cap wrote: ↑Thu Jun 29, 2023 9:57 pmI will no longer be a Suns fan if that happens.JeremyG wrote: ↑Thu Jun 29, 2023 9:31 pmHaha, I was mainly just wanting to make fun of Flex's spelling. Haha, it's all in jest. I agree with you. I don't think there's smoke without fire and can definitely see Kyrie meeting with the Suns today. He'd be stupid not to sound them out. Whether that leads to him signing for the minimum, only time will tell.JeremyG wrote: ↑Thu Jun 29, 2023 9:31 pmHaha, I was mainly just wanting to make fun of Flex's spelling. Re: All Things Ayton
Even in a basketball fit, let alone all the craziness and nonsense he brings, I don't see Kyrie as a great fit. The team would be better off with someone that is a dog on defense and hits the open 3 consistently like Jevon Carter, imo.

Re: All Things Ayton
End of the day if we trade for Kyrie itll have to be a better price, around 25 mil a year, which TALENT wise would be a home run. I agree Kyrie has been toxic, but guys won a title and has a ton of talent. I dont hate it like you guys do.

Re: All Things Ayton
I agree…. If we can get kyrie the baller minus the drama, no problem.
I also agree that a kyrie thread would trump this one…. Aytons frustrating because we’ve seen what he’s capable of and have hopes he’s young enough to turn it around. Kyrie… not so much.
Re: All Things Ayton
I don’t believe for a second that there’s anything real behind this Kyrie rumor. But, I will say: if there is any truth to it, I think it would strongly indicate that James Jones no longer has any real voice in the decisions being made by the Suns front office.

Re: All Things Ayton
James Jones and Kyrie were teammates on the 2016 Cavs when they won the NBA Championship. Who's to say he's not part of the allure for Kyrie to want to meet with us? For all we know, they are friends.BKinSJC wrote: ↑Fri Jun 30, 2023 8:55 amI don’t believe for a second that there’s anything real behind this Kyrie rumor. What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton
Re: All Things Ayton
After watching the Beal presser Jones seemed pretty blunt about his role. He is in charge.
Love, Hurts.
Re: All Things Ayton
Impossible to get Kyrie without the drama. That's just who the guy is.
Also I'm not sure about the fit. Booker needs the ball, Beal needs the ball, KD needs the ball, yes they can all do it without the ball at times but t hey are all also best when they have the ball in their hands. Kyrie is a wizard with a basketball but he's ball dominant. I just don't see how it works.

They would never all be healthy at the same time. So it would work fine.
