Thought we can't trade players together?
Correct, but since Dunn makes so little it is easy to make two separated moves.

Id be so upset. You gotta keep these kinds of dudes around on cheap rookie deals. It's just bad business to keep trading them away.
Love, Hurts.

TOO is right, Grant Williams sucks but I hate Nurk more right now, so…

If we can waive and stretch him later like split said then that’d be cool too.

What about this, another trade I’ve suggested before

Blazers- Grant Williams, 2nd

Hornets- Nurk, 2nds

Suns- Nick Richards, Robert Williams

Completely upgraded the center position to a pretty high level imo. Oso is still a year away I think, play C if there’s injuries, when there’s fouls trouble or spot minutes at the 4 if need be. I’d move that ‘31 for Jimmy probably too if being honest.

Tyus-Book-Jimmy-KD-Robert Williams

Monte-Allen-Royce-Dunn-Richards

You can also trade Tyus and Bol for as many 2nds as possible too, which is actually what I would do anyways right now.

Book-Jimmy-Dunn-KD-RW

Monte-Allen-Royce-Nick Richards

Don’t lie and tell me that ain’t nice.

I'd rather trade literally anyone else on the roster. Booker included.

If we talking about adding sweeteners in the deal, you don’t add any of the rookies, you freakin add Tyus. Minimum deal, not coming back. That’s who you get rid of.

Mark Williams? I'm not going to lie to you but no way do the Hornets gives us their entire center rotation.

Just no value to Charlotte…but you could find another team that would add some 2nds likely

Those are interesting moves, but that team still isn't a contender. So I strongly oppose trading out the 2031 1st to get there. I'd rather do a Nurk move with no 1st outgoing and see from there. And/or if Miami calls and they'll take Beal and 2nds for Butler, do it.

Is the idea just to get out of Beal’s contract? Apparently not, since we have a huge extension in the table for Butler. The trade would make us better, but not relevant. A small win, no big deal, two #2s is the most I would even consider to make it happen and I’m not entirely certain I’d do that.

What are your guys plans? You’re not getting off Beal without including 2031…do you just want to keep the team together and continue to suck so we keep our 2031 pick and give Houston a 2025 lotto pick?

Houston’s probably getting a lotto pick one way or the other, and it ultimately doesn’t make much difference to us since we’re not getting the pick either way.

I'd keep Beal so long as he keeps producing off the bench and remains professional. Maybe he'll buy into it longterm if we have success. Worst case, he plays nice thru the rest of the year and then makes it known in the offseason he won't be willing to come off the bench next year, at which point we can explore trades. There may be more options for us at that point or he may be open to other teams just to get out of Phoenix.
