Mavs Fan For Life.

You know who turned out to be Mavs fans for life? All those poor saps who had terminal heart attacks when they got the news.

You know who else doesn't know what it means? Doncic. He also posted that after the trade as well. Chandler Parsons texted him, "I'm confused" and Cuban responded, "that makes 2 of us."
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

Again, no way Cuban ever makes that deal. For all his nonsense over the years as an owner, he was good for the league and great for Mavs fans.

Also read a few things about how the Luka trade may be linked to a move to Vegas down the road but seemed kinda far fetched.

I love it. Hopefully they will get rid of him and maximize the haul coming back.

Do this right and they fix the franchise.

It's Jones' job to take calls.

I'm not trying to defend the Mavs, but this is a lazy take. Brunson was determined to go to NY, and he became an MVP-level player having his own team. He couldn't have reached that level with Doncic. It's like when people act like the Houston version of James Harden could have happened with Durant and Westbrook.

This is so crazy…Dallas is stupid.
Nico Harrison is coming across as such a clown. That press conference was embarrassing.

I think it was a Joe Johnson situation with him tho where they could've extended him and chose not to?

Doubt this trade goes down if Cuban is majority owner. Says a lot about what the Mavs thought of Luka.
I am starting to think the NBA owners are strategically letting clueless owners in the league to benefit themselves.

After the Luka shit, of course you’re taking calls. But also we already know this, it already reported we have.

I mean they sat all their good players…maybe 91-46 shouldn’t have been expected, but this is like an nba finals team vs a g league team essentially
Eh. Dinwiddie, Grimes, Thompson, are all rotational players for the. Exum was back too.

The spurs did not give up that much for Fox…less than the Knicks gave up for Mikal…no good young players at all.

Fox/Vassell/Wemby and then they’ve got Castle too.
Great job by them. They also kept Keldon Johnson. And Jeremy Sochan. They essentially gave up nothing.

Maybe I should’ve said we are taking calls and not immediately saying no. And we didn’t really know they were taking calls until this week.

Also part of why I said that was to say it doesn’t mean we are trading him…just that we’re listening and we weren’t always listening.

The Mavs low balled Brunson and told him to essentially prove he could get the contract he wanted. That was the beginning of the end of his time in Dallas. The Mavs absolutely misplayed their position.
