Also am I the only one that would kinda enjoy Westbrook signing here? Feel like we could use someone who plays as hard as him.
I get it, but his fondness for going off script and doing dumb shit would probably not be worth it.

If we were trying to win a championship I would agree, but I’m happy just making the playoffs and not embarrassing ourselves.

Westbrook would likely want to start and play 30mpg if he came here.

It's hard to imagine anything worse than last season so he'd certainly be a breath of fresh air, but that'll likely be forgotten after two months of him doing frustrating Russ things.

I actually would happily accept Russell Westbrook. He obviously still has Westbrook Moments, but I think he would be a big upgrade over the PGs we have. And we could actually offer him a big role unlike some other teams that probably want him coming in for spot minutes off the bench. He plays very hard and really gives a shit, and I think those are qualities we really need in our locker room. His mistakes and issues wouldn't be as much of a problem, since we are not going to be a contender anyway. Offer him 1-2 years at modest money and I think it'd be a good value.

Where are we getting the “modest money” from? The most we can offer him is the veteran’s minimum.

Currently…we could possibly have more pending the KD and Beal situations…but Westbrook has been playing on vet min deals for a couple years now…he won’t get more than that anyways

Westbrook is kind of like Randle for me. I really like both of them but not sure I want them on the team. I don't think we have the culture or infrastructure to handle two of those win-now vets in the lockerroom.

Right now, we don't know anything about the identity or vision for this roster until any KD trade happens and the draft/FA takes place. All we know is we have Book and a rookie head coach.

I don't know... That viral thing he's been dealing with kind of scares me to even go near him.

Ya I agree, I’d be wary of KP…the Turner stuff was interesting though.

Gimme the Raps deal, don't want Zinger nor Green.

Don't have a lot of interest in KP. He's always got some weird injury and only plays when he's motivated. I like at least hearing that we're exploring moving Green if we take him back in any deal.

Raptors' pieces are really intriguing if that report is true. I think I'd like IQ over RJ with Poeltl but either way getting 2 of those 3 is a pretty good return of actual talent. Not sure what the Raps' plans are tho and they have a bunch of wings already.

Why are we only interested in centers who can’t rebound? This is literally going to drive me crazy!

What is an example of a center you like who is good at rebounding? :-)

Is that a trick question? :P

By the way, I wasn’t including Poeltl—his rebounding numbers are decent. I was referring to JJJ, Porzingis, and Turner.

Well JJJ is definitely not a C, but I think it’s clear they are interested in spacing bigs. Didn’t Ott talk about playing two bigs? I think they’d be looking to add a 4 and a 5, so don’t need one rebounder. Need multiple.
