Why would Beal accept a trade to the Nets?

He definitely doesn't seem like the type to wanna live in NY.

I think we can get a better player than Claxton at #10, who doesn’t make $25M. Claxton seems to have regressed lately. Cam has a decent contract, but I’m not doing that deal just to get rid of Beal, unless I get at least some first round pick back.

We're begging to get rid of Beal and yet they're going to give us first rounds picks for him?

They now have 8, 19, 22, 26, and 27. They can spare us one. Ainge would get three or four out of them.

Well Richards was fine, because he's a back up, and should be played as so.

Yeah I think Richards is a good back up on a decent salary. No issue with him being on the team but there is an issue when he is asked to be more than that.

I'm not sure what you're saying. The intention would be to upgrade the roster, would it not? Are you just saying they might not be good trades?
