Re: 2025 Suns Offeason News
Ya, taking us the furthest we’ve ever been and setting the single season franchise record in wins is just not good enough.

Do you guys agree with Espo. Should we be done?

Re: 2025 Suns Offeason News
I don't know anyone that's said we should be star chasing or looking for the next big move. Sounds like Espo creating some content for the sake of content.
You swing for a guy like CP when he's there and can legitimately elevate the team. Kuminga isn't that guy for us and I don't want to commit money to him just because he's young and in a buy-low situation.

So now only Booker stans are wanted on this forum? And if you aren’t one then you’re a “troll”? Sad how this place is becoming like a cult—and also strange how it never reflects the diverse opinions of the wider fanbase (except for almost universally agreed upon things like Beal needed to go).Superbone wrote: ↑Fri Jul 18, 2025 2:54 pmWhat TOO said. Interestingly, I was hanging out with a group of friends last night, and one of them was wearing a Booker jersey. And even he said that we overpaid Booker and that we will never win with him as our best player.
But I guess it’s “trolling” to make a statement that 40%-60% of the Suns fanbase agrees with.

I mean there's no secret that we're most wanting in PF and PG positions. I can see balancing out the roster by moving Allen and O'Neale for one or both. Not necessarily star chasing.
The rumor was that we are done other than maybe adding a PG. Are we good with that? And now just try to develop our young guys and play basketball the "right way" wins and losses be damned?
Re: 2025 Suns Offeason News
I guess that's what I mean is more like Kuminga. And I saw something about trading Allen, O'Neale, Richards, AND a 2nd round pick for him. That seems crazy high to me but maybe what's necessary to make the salaries work (minus the 2nd rounder). I'd like to hold onto Richards due to Williams injury history and Maluach's youth.ShelC wrote: ↑Fri Jul 18, 2025 3:00 pmI don't know anyone that's said we should be star chasing or looking for the next big move. Agreed that it is trolling when it comes out in 40%-60% of your posts. Give it a rest. What are you trying to accomplish? He is here to stay whether you like it or not. Constant complaining isn't going to change anything. It's why I blocked 1Tin. That and he is a rude individual that I was no longer willing to put up with.JeremyG wrote: ↑Fri Jul 18, 2025 3:16 pmSo now only Booker stans are wanted on this forum? If Ishbia is going to make ridiculous statements that show he is not serious about winning, I am going to respond with my opinion. I’m not trying to “accomplish” anything. It’s called a discussion forum.Superbone wrote: ↑Fri Jul 18, 2025 3:21 pmAgreed that it is trolling when it comes out in 40%-60% of your posts. Give it a rest. What are you trying to accomplish? I have no problem with you expressing your opinion. But your not expressing yourself anymore. Aside of some tweets, you're just rehashing the same thing, every day, in every thread.
This place is not getting weird. This place is just getting annoyed by your daily trolling.
Realize that you don't need to respond to everything you disagree with. Show some maturity please.

What’s the “same thing” that I’m rehashing “every day”? If you’re gonna make an accusation, prove it with the receipts.rhylek wrote: ↑Fri Jul 18, 2025 3:37 pmI have no problem with you expressing your opinion. But your not expressing yourself anymore. I don’t know if there’s even one particular topic that I’ve posted about more than once or twice in the last couple weeks.
This place is definitely getting weird. Y’all even ran the site owner off.

Re: 2025 Suns Offeason News
I'm still not convinced that trading all of Allen, O'Neale, and Richards is the way to go. I worry about our shooting right now and think we need at least Allen or O'Neale to throw out there. And while Maluach showed some flashes in SL, I don't know that he's ready for backup minutes so keeping Richards makes sense to me. I'm not ready to rely on Brea or Fleming for rotational minutes either. That leaves Book/Green/CG at the 1/2, Dunn/Brooks at the 3/4, Oso/NHD as our 4s and Williams/Richards at the 5. Throw in Allen/Royce at the 2/3 and that's a 10 man rotation.Superbone wrote: ↑Fri Jul 18, 2025 3:17 pmI guess that's what I mean is more like Kuminga. I think the biggest hole right now is at PF. We know Book, Green and CG can run point. Not ideal, but those are our PGs. I think Oso and NHD are less proven at PF. Moving Dunn to PF fulltime doesn't solve the problem either. I don't think we need a huge name there but a serviceable vet who can start and give us some solid play.

I'm listening now and here goes Gambo about 5:30 in asking about the 15th and it's relationship to the Beal buy out. LET IT GO, Gambo! Give me a break. This is for the listeners, not for you!

Gambo is in his feelings because of Marc Stein. No reason for us fans to mince words or take sides, it’s an insider ego beef. I couldn’t care less.
In the context of recent statements by Ishbia, I’m not surprised or adverse to pursuit of Kuminga as long as the Suns use their leverage. I’ll be impressed if they can squeeze someone else for once, let alone a division foe.

I wouldn't count on the squeezing part by this FO but I would be pleasantly surprised if they did.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Fri Jul 18, 2025 9:06 pmGambo is in his feelings because of Marc Stein. No reason for us fans to mince words or take sides, it’s an insider ego beef. I couldn’t care less.

Re: 2025 Suns Offeason News
I met Steven Hunter today in Queen Creek. He was at an adventure park for his kids birthday party. I told him that the 04-05 Suns were my favorite to watch. I asked him why he didn’t resign and he said Sarver didn’t want to sign him for more than one year. I always wondered why we didn’t resign him, he was a solid center during his team here.
