2025 Suns Offeason News
Re: 2025 Suns Offeason News
I didn't watch any Philly or Wash last year. He's a PG, right?? Highlights show a lot of ball handling.
Did a bit more research, he was the PG on that 28-2 Baylor team. He's only 24 and has a really tight handle. Looks very slippery and crafty. At 6-2 he looks a bit like Deangelo Russel to me.

Butler's an intriguing name, if that's confirmed. Good young player to take a flier on, liked him coming out of the draft a few years ago.

I would be very pleased with adding Butler.

I liked him out of college too…thought he was a steal when the Jazz got him round 2…but he’s bounced around a lot. Did play well with Philly last year, though that’s just looking at stats. I didn’t watch end of season Philly who was absolutely tanking, so take note of that.

He was the one guy Split mentioned that I knew nothing about.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.
Re: 2025 Suns Offeason News
Interesting. So who was he talking about? He has shot down almost every name thrown his way.
Re: 2025 Suns Offeason News
I can't wait until he makes a big play and Kevin Ray proclaims "THE BUTLER DID IT!"
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.
Re: 2025 Suns Offeason News
Important question: do the Suns think he's the lesser brother of Jimmy Butler?

Yawn. I mean cool and good getting another young player with some intrigue but holler at me with the Oneal Allen trade

If we can't get Giddey, I wonder if one of them would be enough to get Sexton from Charlotte? I have no idea why the Jazz wanted Nurkic, aside from maybe Sexton was too impactful to winning. But Sexton would fit in well with Booker and Green I think.specialsauce wrote: ↑Wed Jul 23, 2025 12:03 pmYawn. I watch a lot more ball than I'd like to admit.

I wouldn't mind sexton but you can't play him beside those two he's too small. If they're committed to Book and Green I prefer we use it to get someone with size. Also, the Hornets coach was gushing about him so doubt he's going anywhere.wpmiller42 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 23, 2025 12:10 pmIf we can't get Giddey, I wonder if one of them would be enough to get Sexton from Charlotte? Ya I think Charlotte wanted Sexton. I think getting a big forward who can score would be the best addition.

We may have met our quota for how many times we’re legally allowed to trade with one particular team in a single calendar year.
