2025 NBA Offseason News
Re: 2025 NBA Offseason News
I’m glad we aren’t going to get Kuminga. Really hard to imagine how a guy who cannot parse his situation on the warriors can do well on a team with less pressure in terms of team chemistry. He’s giving off some Michael Beasley vibes.
Re: 2025 NBA Offseason News
I have those concerns too, but a little part of me wonders if the warriors were the problem. He’s just not really a good fit for how they want to play and they didn’t want to use him the way he’s good at. Kerr is pretty stubborn and the warriors play a fairly unique style. I’m perfectly fine not getting him though…I would’ve only wanted him if the cost was essentially just some combination of Grayson/Royce/Richards and a 2nd or 2.
Re: 2025 NBA Offseason News
They wanted an offense first guy to play a stand there 3D role. Was never gonna work, it's similar to how the Suns used Beal, just didn't make sense. I like Kumingas offensive upside, but I think it's too similar to Greens, just don't think having 2 of the same problem would work.

I heard somewhere that Mikal doesn’t play defense anymore…

Note group A: OKC, Minnesota, Utah, Sacramento, and Phoenix
We just have to beat the defending NBA champs. That's all.

Hi gang, after a brief hiatus, I'm back and would like to resume posting on the site. Not much has happened with our Suns lately, but I've been mostly reading the posts here each day. I missed you guys!

Re: 2025 NBA Offseason News
We missed you too, Marty. I hope all is well in Martyland.

Hardwood Paroxysm has a writeup about the Kings offseason. They are such a bewildering team. I don't know what they are doing, whether they are trying to be good or bad, how they think their moves make sense together. I would trade our team's future for most other teams' due to our lack of draft picks, but the Kings are one of the more depressing teams in the league IMO.

Re: 2025 NBA Offseason News
Not really sure which thread this fits in, but since its applicable to the entire NBA, I picked here.
So, I recently received an email from YouTube TV saying that they can no longer off NBA League Pass since it is now exclusive to Amazon Prime. I've generally been very pleased with my experience with YouTube TV, though I despise the 15 second skip increment (it's too long,,,make it 10 secs!). Anyway, I do not like watching sports live, preferring to start an NBA game about 1.25 hours after the broadcast starts so that I can skip commercials and dead time, which usually means I've caught up to live just after the game ends. I lot of services don't handle this well: starting to watch a recording before the broadcast has completed. NBA.com's version of league pass supports this, but it's clunky (as is the whole NBA app version of league pass). IIRC, you have to start the stream live and then back up to the beginning, which means I could inadvertently see the mid-game score.
My point here is that I'm concerned about Amazon's ability to provide the same functionality that traditional NBA League Pass providers provided. I generally do not watch Thursday Night Football, so I'm not sure how Prime has handled delayed streaming of live broadcasts, if it even does. Is anyone else concerned about this or have any insight?
