Some details of our pitch. We used a platoon system:

Tough to say about Watson. I don't think he was added just for that reason but I'm sure it played a part. He's played with a lot of different guys and is a respected vet. Always good to have a guy like that on your staff regardless. And it's not like they'll just fire him if Aldridge doesn't sign here right?

Smart to have Sarver go first so its the least likely thing he'll remember.

Followed by Lon Babby in clown shoes talking about unicorns and glitter.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

So what kind of a deal would it take to get Aldridge here? We're obviously ready to say goodbye to the Three Felons, but I doubt that would satisfy Portland. If they demand Alex, TJ and picks, where do you draw the line?

What is the salary we have to match? What is the max for him?

I love it. If you're Aldridge and you have Eric Bledsoe, Brandon Knight and Tyson Chandler looking at you and telling you to sign...that's got to be tempting. Spurs are the Spurs but still, that's an impressive and exciting group of guys as far as I'm concerned.

Bledsoe was just there to tell him he was willing to sacrifice himself for the good of the team in a S&T. Haha. Seriously though props for the full court press.
“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”

If you are him, you have a chance to be _THAT GUY_ that brought a championship* to Phoenix. In San Antonio, you have a chance to be _THAT GUY_ that replaced Tim Duncan and wasn't as good or won as many championships. Ouch.

I in no way think that we could ever be that lucky.

Couldn't we sign outright and then do a sign and trade with Dallas for Tyson? We also still have the trade exception from the Dragic trade so we could use that to even things out.
