Tough to say about Watson. I don't think he was added just for that reason but I'm sure it played a part. He's played with a lot of different guys and is a respected vet. I love it. If you're Aldridge and you have Eric Bledsoe, Brandon Knight and Tyson Chandler looking at you and telling you to sign...that's got to be tempting. Spurs are the Spurs but still, that's an impressive and exciting group of guys as far as I'm concerned.

If you are him, you have a chance to be _THAT GUY_ that brought a championship* to Phoenix. In San Antonio, you have a chance to be _THAT GUY_ that replaced Tim Duncan and wasn't as good or won as many championships. Ouch.

Couldn't we sign outright and then do a sign and trade with Dallas for Tyson? We also still have the trade exception from the Dragic trade so we could use that to even things out.
