SL Game Day: Jazz #20 (0-3) @ Suns #13 (1-2), Wed 7/12/17

With how often Bender hits the back of the rim he should probably start following his shot. He responds like a guard most of the time by getting ready to head back down the court instead of trying for the rebound.

It is just summer league. The sky can still be falling. It all depends on how you want to view it.The Bobster wrote:Wait a second....... I thought the sky was falling!

Sorry, I should have explained more--the announcers were discussing how the other players taken around Jackson had a pretty good shot to be stars and brought an elite skill. Their comment on Jackson was just simply that he would be an NBA player, implying that his ceiling was lower than the other players he was picked with.n4th4n wrote:jonh wrote:Announcers throwing shade on Jackson. One of them said something to the effect of "well, I would say that this is the right league that I would put Jackson in". What a compliment.
I think they meant the NBA homie

Bender showing a versatile offensive game. Putbacks, turnarounds, 3 pointer, and hooks.

Bender looking real good.
Question is can he avoid the 2nd half curse that Carey pointed out last game and actually not tank his shooting percentage in the second half.

Just a little boxing out would go a long way for him. He just had another one taken away from him.bajanguy008 wrote:As noted by everyone Josh confidence is up as Ledlow reported he said and he had a great quarter. Only thing I noticed which someone mentioned before is that he not always boxing out and just looks to jump for the board

Gave up 11 offensive rebounds--thats the only thing that really brought the jazz back. That and a ton of 3s.

Whats been benders best game as a Sun? This has to be up there right now. 16/3/1 and a block is not bad for a half.bajanguy008 wrote:Wow , Carey without hesitation on the No lolEDC wrote:We can hope!carey wrote:No.EDC wrote:Bender looking real good.

Someone one once told me boxing out is important. I thought it was a good basketball tip. Maybe I should share it with the Suns.

I guess it depends on if you like having possession of the ball. Maybe that is not part of our strategy. #streetsaheadn4th4n wrote:Someone one once told me boxing out is important. I thought it was a good basketball tip. Maybe I should share it with the Suns.

Side note: I'm less worried about Josh Jackson's shot than Marqueese Chriss'.
