I mean, he's always whining and moping almost every single time you see him on the court. I figured he'd be a Grade A bitch and do something like this.
The point is that Nurkic was supposed to be content with a small role, give maximum effort, with no complaining/moping. That was the whole reason given for trading Ayton.
We were set at center. But we destroyed ourselves, just like every other trade Ishbia has engineered.
Nick Richards…might be better than Ayton. At least for the price, it’s no question.

The whole reason Ayton was traded is because he sucked and could not be counted on to be worth a damn on any given day. We were not "set" at center. Ayton is a nickel-a-dozen center that isn't even wanted by the team that traded for him. And they suck worse than the Suns. Keep in mind, I was an Ayton apologist until close to the end when I realized he was trash and it wasn't going to change.
This is getting so damn old. Ayton was traded a year and a half ago. We don't want him. Now we don't want Nurk either and all we get from you is Ayton this and Nurk that. They both suck, but Nurk makes $12 million less per year and wasn't our one and only #1 pick. Stop it. You're right Allen wasn't the best part of the trade, but he was a very close second. The best part was getting rid of Ayton.
I guess I need to put you back on ignore.

He would be an upgrade from our current center rotation for sure. Hopefully we can get it done.Wally_West wrote: ↑Mon Jan 13, 2025 2:18 pmTOO wrote: ↑Mon Jan 13, 2025 1:32 pmYes, Grazin' Allen is better than Deandre Ayton. It’s not just about a difference of opinion. You took a position generally considered absurd, there was a time when it was all you ever talked about, and even though it’s not really a problem any more it can still feel like it is because it’s hard to let go of old thoughts.JeremyG wrote: ↑Mon Jan 13, 2025 2:29 pmHmm…if a difference of opinion aggravates you so much, I guess so.SunsRIt wrote: ↑Mon Jan 13, 2025 1:17 pmLET. Re: Suns News: Week 12 (1/6-1/12/25)
One problem with that. He wasn’t a true center. He was a power forward. Thus the reason we traded for Shaq.

This is a great article. Pretty much 100% spot on about the Suns' problems and the argument FOR trading KD now while we still can.Kryptonic wrote: ↑Mon Jan 13, 2025 12:16 pmWhy the Phoenix Suns Should Trade Kevin Durant

I kinda think you guys are wrong here. Let me give you a perspective you may not have thought about to better appreciate this man.
Deandre Ayton is the best player the Suns have ever drafted #1 overall. You may have a different opinion but you're wrong.
